Let the good times roll. As Mardi Gras rolled around we headed to colourful and vibrant New Orleans to join in on one of the great traditions of the American south.

We connected with prominent local artist Jay Mckay at his animated city art studio, Hues.

After a couple days of Mardi Gras festivities we headed out to the Honey Island swamp to experience the beautiful nature of Louisiana's bayous.

Nola's rich musical history and warm-hearted locals provide an evocative blend of community and creativity.
